Kleenoil Mobile Filtration Carts are free-standing off-line fluid cleaning rigs.

The Kleenoil Mobile Filtration Carts comes available in three iterations:

The Kleenoil Mobile Filtration Unit is a robust, designed to last, free-standing, electric off-line fluid cleaning rig and can be used as multi-purpose fluid cleaning and transfer machines.

Ideal for cleaning most hydraulic, gear, and transmission fluid reservoirs, and, because of its portable design, it can be used for fuel tank purging on trucks, construction equipment, and boats as well as for oil and fuel transfer and rotational cleaning of factory and industrial equipment.

The system can also be used to clean and transfer unused oil (ISO 14/9) prior to use.

A simple, affordable ‘plug and play’ filtration cart in varying configurations to bring your mineral oils & diesel fuels to ‘cleaner than new’.

  • Designed for cleaning hydraulic, gear and transmission fluid reservoirs and, as a portable design, ideal for fuel tank purging on trucks, construction equipment, and boats or for oil and fuel transfer and rotational cleaning of factory and industrial equipment.
  • The Kleenoil filter achieves an ISO 4406 Cleanliness Code of 14/9: well below the standards of the equipment’s original manufacturers and distributors.

  • Optional Micromag to remove fine ferrous material to submicron and control bacteria.

Micromag Option

The Micromag is a powerful 9000 gauss rare earth magnet.

This is an effective pre-filter, removing relatively large particles of magnetic and ferrous material.

This magnet can be installed as an optional extra on all our filter cart range. Due to its convenient mount and clear filter housing, fluid can be seen and condition can be reviewed. This is also an excellent tool when commissioning your filter rig to ensure stable flow conditions.

How Micromag Works

Contaminated fluid enters the inlet port where flow
is equally split via tapered radial flow channels which
lowers the flow velocity ready for the fluid to be
filtered.

It then passes up the outside of the centrally mounted
‘Rare Earth’ magnetic core where contamination
particles are attracted and retained.

The magnetic flux circuit geometry ensures a controlled
build up of contamination so the filter can never block.

Filtered fluid then flows through slots at the top of the
core then down and through the center of the core,
exiting through the outlet port.

 

ICM 2.0 Particle Counter

This particle counter addon can be added onto any one of the Kleenoil Filter Carts but it must be specified when ordering the filter cart as bracing and wiring need to be built into the machine to support the addon.

The ICM 2.0 automatically measures and displays particulate contamination, moisture and temperature levels in various hydraulic fluids. It is designed specifically to be mounted directly to systems, where ongoing measurement or analysis is required, and where space and costs are limited. The ICM can be used as a standalone product or can be controlled by external PC, PLC or the ICM: RDU (Remote Display Unit with 3m control supplied as standard).

Flow Rate: It is impossible to state an exact flow rate because it is dependent upon many factors such as viscosity, temperature, and a degree of contamination of fluid, and also pump pressure and degree of contamination of cartridges. As an approximate guide, the flow of 32 sec. Hydraulic oil at room temperature through new Kleenoil Filter Cartridges will be:

Edan Farms has been using PowerUp for over 20 years in all our Semi-tractors. We have been a contractor for Fedex Ground running from 20-30 rigs nearly every day. Each truck travels over 200,000 per year.

One of the first things we noticed when we started using PowerUp is that our engines run cooler. Since using PowerUp, we have not had to overhaul an engine in less than 1 million miles and most we haven't overhauled in less than 1.4 million miles. When we do take the engine apart, it is always very clean, and wear is extremely minimal. In 20 years, we have not had a single differential gear failure due to lubrication.

With PowerUp, we extended our oil drains to 30,000 miles and could have probably run further if we had chosen to.

About 10 years ago, because of your presentation on KleenOil Filtration, we started adding these filter units to our engine. With the continuous purification of the oil and complete removal of water, we now have been able to extend oil drains to well over 300,000 miles per rig. We still sample each engine every 30,000 miles and have been very impressed with the condition of the oil even after these extended oil drains. We have never had an issue due to lubrication with any of the engines.

PowerUp and Kleenoil have saved us thousands upon thousands of dollars in oil changes, engine repairs and overhauls. Presumably, though we have never collected the data, we have saved thousands in fuel costs because the engines maintain their efficiency due to very low wear.

I personally maintain our engines and I am a believer in these products because I have seen the results. I would recommend them to anyone. Please feel free to have anyone call if they have any questions.

As a leader in Eagle County in wishing to operate as a greener entity, we continually look for ways to operate more efficiently. In early 2008 Kleenoil came to us asking questions about the oil program in our bus fleet. They introduced their oil filtration system to us, which is designed to have an engine use less oil over its life cycle by keeping it clean. We were interested and worked together with Kleenoil to design a test procedure.

The program started with a complete analysis of our oil program. They tested our bulk oil and the used oil in our buses to establish baseline data. They consulted with us every step of the way to create a comprehensive test program.

We completed a seven month test in February 2009, and based on great results, ECO Transit made the decision to purchase additional filter systems for several of our buses. These Kleenoil equipped buses will now use and dispose of, 75% less oil. That not only saves substantial dollars in oil costs but also, our mechanics now spend more time addressing mechanical or DOT rather than changing oil.

This process is very environmentally friendly and saves the County Taxpayers dollars. We would strongly suggest establishing a rapport with Kleenoil USA.

Three years ago, I introduced the Kleenoil Filter system into the Garry Mercer Trucking Fleet. My main purpose in doing so was to extend our oil change intervals, and reduce our oil usage without compromising the engine life.

To do this we started out by conducting a few tests. In our first test, we changed the Kleenoil filter every 30,000 km but left the engine oil in, and the filter on. We found we were able to run the oil up to 140,000 km without any problems. We still now only change the Kleenoil filter cartridge every 30,000 km and leave the engine oil filter on for the life of the oil at 100,000 km. This number was set by myself from the 140,000 km due to my precautions toward the engine and the potential wear.

As we conducted our tests we monitored the samples through Wear Check Oil. Together with Garry Mercer Trucking, they still play a large role in the operation of the Kleenoil System program. With Wear Check we sample the oil every other service at 60,000 km.

With using this system we have found positive results from different areas. We had an engine apart at 1,500,000 km and once we dropped the rod and main bearings we found that the bearings were still good and able to stay in service. The Kleenoil System has been compatible with both Shell Rotella 15W40 and Castrol Hypuron S 15W40 oils, and both have shown better results with the program than previously without. We have also tried to run the extended oil drain without using the Kleenoil System but found they were only able to extend to 60,000 km before samples showed signs of wear.

The Kleenoil System has given our technicians more time to concentrate on other areas of the units because of its success. The program has also saved us a great deal of money on engine oil without compromising the engine life. The system is easy to install and easy to maintain. It is my opinion that the Kleenoil System will not only save your company money and maintenance costs but help to protect the environment as well.

To Whom It May Concern:

We were interested but skeptical when Richard Wright of Kleenoil approached us regarding a bypass engine oil system. This system would lengthen our oil and drop intervals on our PM2 Maintenance program from 15,000KM to 60,000KM.

After Richard's demonstration of product data we tested the product on two trucks. In conjunction with the Toromont Oil Analysis program, we were currently using; we monitored the results of the oil quality. We were very impressed with the results.

We have decided to run this program on our entire fleet of 60 disposal and recycling trucks, including city and long haul units. There has been a substantial cost savings not only on the oil and filters but the labour costs have also decreased dramatically due to the time saving for a 10 minute oil filter cartridge change.

Upon installation of the system we do a full oil drop including all the filters. Then we change only the Kleenoil cartridge every 15,000KM. At the 60,000KM milestone we do another full drop.

We have also used the Kleenoil product on the hydraulic systems of a large industrial baler and a garbage compactor that we also have on site.

We have been pleased with the service from Kleenoil and have found them to have a good availability of filters. We will be installing the Kleenoil System on any future equipment purchases and highly recommend the product.
